Piano lessons for children - all levels from:

Prep and beginner level:

• ages 5 and up with no experience in music or instrumental performance

 

Intermediate:

• previous experience either through lessons or schooling

 

Advanced:

• several years experience and looking to further develop pianistic skills

 

At all levels a comprehensive tuition is offered that includes:

sight reading, musical theory, technique and general musical history and contexts.
 

This prepares the student with a strong musical vocabulary to understand, interpret and perform to a high standard, either for AMEB exam preperation or for fun.

Piano lessons for Adults - All levels, ages and skills!

I came to teaching as a way of sharing my passion with those who are beginning to explore their potential in music. Having approached the piano as an adult, I am well placed to understand the challenges adult learners may face. One way to approach your learning journey would be to explore music through a style or composer that resonates with you. For me it is the solo piano works of Beethoven that most inspire me.
